Oviedo lagoon, Island Flamingo
The tour will take you along the coastal road with fantastic views. The goal is the town of Oviedo. Here you will visit "La Laguna de Oviedo", a natural reserve of salt water separated from the sea by a narrow strip of land. After you receive your bracelets for entrance to the national park, it will take up to a boat typical. Once in the boat, you'll be able to observe numerous large birds, such as herons, spoonbills and ducks.

La Laguna de Oviedo está formada por un total de 24 islotes de diferentes tamaños. Al visitar una de estas islas, tendrá la oportunidad de observar iguanas en su hábitat natural. Después de dicha visita te acercaras en lancha a la mayor colonia de flamencos de la República Dominicana. Disfruta de la experiencia mientras pasas una bandada entera de flamencos.
Finaliza la visita con un baño de barro en un lugar específico de la laguna, con un material al que se le atribuyen efectos terapéuticos y cosméticos. ¡Diviértete como un niño jugando con el barro! Una vez finalizada dicha vuelta en lancha serás conducido de vuelta a tu hotel. En el camino de regreso se encuentran «Los Patos», un lugar típico dominicano con refrescantes ríos y playas rocosas que invitan al baño. Si quieres comer aquí, no dudes en decírselo a tu guía y él se encargará de todo. El costo del almuerzo debe ser pagado por los clientes.
